Larry Xu, professionally known as X U, is a China-born, New York-based producer, rapper, and sound designer. He combines hip-hop, hyper-pop, and pop, creating music inspired by the places he has worked in: China, London, Taiwan, and New York. Our interview took place in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, on a Tuesday in February.
