No.1 How would you describe this week in a sentence?

I would say this week has been a learning experience.

Would you like to elaborate?

To keep it simple, just life. Trying new things and meeting new people. I've gotten to learn about, yeah, just life, pretty much.

No.2 An artwork that inspired you this week.

It's actually funny, 'cause I walked into a random art gallery… I was in Manhattan, and I went in and there was, I don't even know how to describe it, but it was in a jar and those wires, [and] they made a face out of it, and it was just the dopest, dopest thing.
I have a picture of it. [shows a picture]

GNZ: I think I've seen some of those before.

Yeah. They made a face out of it and it was really dope. And that definitely sparked something in me.

No.3 A memorable moment from this week.

I went to a show yesterday. It was at a dispensary, and that was the weirdest thing that I had seen. It was a really big dispensary, but it was cool though, 'cause it was a mixture of someone who was displaying their art, and a performance afterwards. There was a singer there, and I was just like, this is the most New York thing I've ever seen. So that probably sticks out for me.

A hundred percent New York!

No.4 A motto you swear by, or an advice you received and would love to share.

I don't know, it's kind of hard to… These always go through my head, but then, when someone asks you one you can't think of any.

I guess just be yourself. That's the best thing that you can carry in any place you go, is not trying to put on a facade [and] making sure you are who you are.

Thank you, That's very true.

No.5 And what would you like to share about your project?

It was a song called "Gotta Get Away" with my artist Depreston. We make a lot of music together, but I like this song a lot because I feel like this one really captured both of us. I produced it and helped him write it, [and] I think what we liked to portray was the essence of how we work together, so it came out really good.
